FAQ
Basic help you need
Color print job isn’t loading — what should I do?
This usually happens when the CP system is overloaded with multiple jobs, preventing new ones from being processed.
To resolve this:
- Clear some of the existing jobs from the queue to free up space.
- Once space is available, your new job should load and process correctly.
What is the typical expiration date for inkjet inks?
- Inkjet inks generally have a shelf life of about one year from the date of manufacture.
- Flush/cleaning fluids can typically be stored for up to two years.
To ensure optimal performance, always store inks and flush fluids in a cool, dry place and follow the manufacturer’s storage guidelines.
Why I don’t get adhesion on my product?
Adhesion is the ability of the ink to bond effectively to the bottle surface. Poor adhesion can reduce the scratch resistance of the printed design, even if the ink looks fine.
In traditional printing, ink is pressed into the surface, creating mechanical bonding by filling microscopic irregularities.
In UV inkjet printing, ink droplets gently land on the surface without pressure and are cured by UV light. Because there is no mechanical force, adhesion depends on proper surface preparation, surface energy, and the use of primers or treatments.
For optimal scratch resistance, correct surface preparation is essential.

To improve adhesion, try the following:
- Clean the surface – remove dust, oils, or residues using isopropyl alcohol.
- Perform plasma treatment – activates the surface for better bonding.
- Apply primer (PT/CG) – corrects surface inconsistencies.
- Apply Inkjet primer – enhances ink adhesion further.
- Flame treatment – can be used if additional surface activation is necessary.
Following these steps ensures that the ink bonds properly, resulting in sharp, durable prints.
Why is the print quality not sharp?
Blurry or unclear prints can result from several factors. To improve print sharpness, try the following:
- Check RIP software settings – ensure the resolution, print quality, and graphic file format are appropriate for your design.

- Verify bottle positioning – Ensure the bottle is correctly positioned relative to the carriage; the distance between the bottle and print head should be 1.4mm – 1,6 mm.

- Inspect the printhead and nozzles – clogged or partially blocked nozzles can also affect sharpness. Perform a nozzle check and cleaning if necessary.
Following these steps should help restore sharp, clear print quality. If not please contact support@amicatechnology.eu
